I found this bit of information on how to cure chiggers you may enjoy. I have not tried the aspirin trick, so I do not know if it works or no. The rest I can vouch for though. Intelligent Yard Control for Chiggers, Harvest Mites, Red Bugs
1. Spray the yard with diluted dish soap and vegetable oil
(4 tablespoons of dish soap and 4 teaspoons of vegetable oil per gallon of water)
or diluted Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint(1 – 2 oz. per gallon of water).
or diluted Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint(1 – 2 oz. per gallon of water).
2. To treat the pain of chigger bites: rub bite with a moist aspirin tablet or put on a dab of nail polish (if you are not allergic to these).If you still have chigger problems, read The Best Control; or The Best Control II
